Priscilla Nadell Steele, 83, of Wichita, died Monday, October 7, 2024 at Wesley Woodlawn Hospital in Wichita, Kansas.

She was born on June 24, 1941 in Downey, California, the daughter of Chester and Ruby Hipshire Ford. Nadell graduated from high school in Downey.

She married Donald Lee Steele on September 7, 1959 in Norwalk, Calif. They continued to live in California until moving to Wichita in 1994.

Nadell had worked in the school cafeterias for the Wichita U.S.D. 259 for several years until retiring.  She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and a  little bit of gambling.

Survivors include her son Michael Steele and daughter Barbara Steele both of whom live Wichita; four grandchildren Eric Flores, April Flores, Joey Steele and Chris Newton; and nine great grandchildren.

Nadell is preceded in death by her parents and husband on January 7, 2005.

Memorial graveside and inurnment services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 15 at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery in Winfield, Kansas.
