Ramonita Padilla-Rodriguez, 62, of Dodge City, Kansas, died Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

She was born on April 17, 1962 in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Fabian Padilla and Teonila Rodriguez. Ramonita was raised and graduated from high school in Puerto Rico.

She married Castulo Ayala-Vega on February 26,1985 in Puerto Rico. They moved from Puerto Rico to Dodge City ten years ago. Ramonita loved to cook for family and friends.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Castulo and her children Castulo JR Ayala-Padilla, Jakeline D Ayala-Padilla, Carlos M. Ayala all of Dodge City, Carol M. Ayala-Padilla of Puerto Rico; along with eight grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Ramonita Ayala Padilla.
