Rebecca Alice Hempe, 56, passed away on March 18, 2025. Born on May 7, 1968, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the youngest of six children. Rebecca, lovingly known as Becky, devoted her life to her family, always placing their needs above her own. She was deeply proud of her role as a stay-at-home mother and wife, offering unwavering love and support to her husband, Bryan, and her two daughters, Kelsey and Ryleigh.
Throughout her life, Becky found fulfillment in helping others. She spent many years providing childcare and later dedicated herself to foster care, offering her compassion and kindness to countless children.
A woman of many talents, Becky had a passion for crafting. She was an avid scrapbooker and loved making personalized cards, each one a reflection of her creativity and heart. Becky also enjoyed shopping, particularly when it came to finding the perfect gift for her beloved grandchildren, Emersyn, Maverick, and Sutton Jones, whom she often said "kept her fighting" throughout her health struggles.
Rebecca is survived by her mother, Patricia Bronson; father, Edson Perry; husband, Bryan Hempe; daughters, Kelsey (James) Jones and Ryleigh Hempe; and her three granddaughters, Emersyn, Maverick, and Sutton Jones. She is also survived by her siblings, numerous extended family members, as well as those who considered her family. Becky was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Claire Hempe, and her older sister, Theresa Smith.
Rebecca faced a long and difficult battle with medical complications, showing incredible strength and dignity through every challenge. Her time with us may have been shorter than we had hoped, but the impact she made on the lives of those around her was immeasurable. She radiated positivity, joy, and perseverance, leaving a legacy of love and kindness.
