Regina Lynn Miler, more recently of Lyons, Kansas, died Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

She was born on September 29, 1970 in El Dorado, Kansas, the daughter of David Louis and Betty J. Cartwright Bass. The family moved to Burns, Kansas where Gina was raised and graduated from Peabody High School.

She lived in Peabody for several years until moving to Lyons in 2022. Through the years Gina had worked at Pioneer Balloon in El Dorado where she loved her job and loved fixing the machines if something was wrong.

She was an avid Nascar and football fan along with enjoying listening to music, going to concerts, festivals and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughters Ashley Johnson Carson and husband Raheim Carson of Lyons, Tiffany Fistler of McPherson, bonus daughter Staysha Fundenberger of Lyons, son in law Kyle Fistler of Lyons, ; grandchildren Gunther Fistler, Amelia Araujo and bonus grandson Owen Johnson.

Gina is also survived by her brothers Johnny Bass and wife Amber, Kevin Bass with Jennifer Roland, Richard Bass with Patty Bates, and Michael Bass with Angie Bennett all of Burns; and sisters Linda Catlin and husband Daniel of Florence, Ks., Charlotte Bass with Jerry Carpenter of Newton, and Tammy Bass of Lindborg, Ks and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother David Bass; and sister Sheryl Shrewsbury.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, November 2 at Sticks and Twigs, 205 N. Washington Ave., Burns, Ks. 66840. Everyone is encouraged to wear purple.

Private family inurnment will take place at the Sunset Lawns Cemetery in El Dorado.
