Reginald Dean Griffith was born in El Dorado, Kansas, on December 30, 1970, and passed away suddenly and tragically in Wichita, Kansas, on October 16, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jacob Scott, his father, Ronald Dean, and his mother, Jan Langfitt.

He is remembered as "Dad" by Dustin and Jacob (fiancée Kyleigh), and as "Pops" to Ben, Tiana, and Amariah. He is remembered as brother to Joy (fiancé Kevin Baker) and Ashley Callstrom (Jonathan), and as nephew, cousin, uncle, friend and numerous nicknames to so many.

He is remembered as a person who was there through the highs and lows in the parts of life he shared with partners, confidants, acquaintances, and those who crossed his path. Regi was the kind of person who would try to find a shirt to give another, regardless of whether he had one of his own to spare.

Those who knew him will remember his love for cooking and music, his humor, and his remarkable ability to recall people and phone numbers from decades ago. Even in the face of opposition, he stood up for what he believed in. He is loved and will be forever missed.
