Richard "Rick" Davies, 67, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2025 in Wichita. Born April 17,1957 in Emporia (lived in Lebo), spent his early childhood in Greensburg and lived in Emporia most of his life. He graduated from Emporia High School and attended Emporia State University. He played sports and was fast as a jack rabbit. He was involved in the family nursery and garden center for over 40 years. He designed and installed many of the sprinkler systems in Emporia. He enjoyed fishing and following the Kansas City Chiefs.

He is preceded in death by his father David and mother Laura (Mickey). He is survived by his sister Beth (Max) Sielert of Emporia and brother Scott (Mary Beth) Davies of Hesston , 2 nephews, one niece and 4 great nephews.
