Richard Dale VanBebber JR, 59, of Holyrood, KS died on September 9, 2024. He came into this world on April 19, 1965, in Kansas City, MO. Richard is the son of Richard Dale VanBebber SR. and Kathy Buckingham.  He was raised in Gardner, KS and went to Russell High School.

Richard loved his kids and grandkids; they were his whole world. Richard was a family man and would give the shirt off his back to anyone who was in need. He enjoyed attending family events and gathering around for the holidays. His passion was driving a semi, fishing, and shopping for tools. He enjoyed watching crime shows. He loved Mexican food, and taking his family and friends to his favorite restaurant. He loved his dogs Zeus, Spike and Buster.

Richard worked for Chuck Bean in Russell, KS, Cameron Trucking out of Grant City, MO, worked in the Oilfield, worked at a Tire Shop and ended up at Cal-Maine for the last three years.  He enjoyed seeing all his co-workers when going to work and goofing off with them all. Richard will be missed dearly by all his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Kathy Buckingham.

Richard is survived by his father Richard VanBebber SR; sons Zachary VanBebber (Clara), Cody Denio, and Ryan Pickens; daughters Donna Dettlebach (Matt), Cathy Valarde; brother Charles VanBebber; sisters Rhonda Berens (Eddie) and Debbie Fox; grandchildren Autumn VanBebber, Selena VanBebber, Paisley VanBebber, Noah VanBebber, Tara Dettlebach, Kayla Dettlebach, Jonathan Dettlebach, Jentry Hewett, Callie Hewett and Zoey Denio. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, his dogs and friends.

Private family services will be held.
