Robert Eugene Burress, born on February 27, 1964, in Wichita, Kansas, peacefully departed this life on May 28, 2025, at the age of 61. At the time of his passing he was surrounded by the love of his family.

Robert was a man of few words, often keeping to himself, yet his presence was deeply felt by those who knew him. He had an unwavering love for his family, especially his grand daughter Rosalie, which was evident in every action he took. Above all, Robert considered being a father and a husband his greatest achievements. He was a devoted father to his two daughters, Amanda Kantas and Brittany Burress, who were the lights of his life. His love for his late wife, Tracey Burress, was profound and lasting, and he cherished every moment they shared together.

Those who had the pleasure of knowing Robert remember him as a man of quiet strength and gentle heart. He made many of his greatest memories while working construction or just spending time at home with his family working on the house.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Robert's life and honor his memory at a funeral service to be held Saturday June 21st at Peace Lutheran Church of Andover.

As we gather to remember Robert, let us do so with fondness and gratitude for the moments shared. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his daughters and grandchildren and all those who were fortunate enough to be touched by his presence. May he rest in peace, forever remembered and always loved.
