Robert "Bob" Dale Holl II, 65, lifelong Wichita area resident, passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by loved ones August 18, 2025.
He lived a life full of kindness, laughter, and generosity. Bob planned to retire January 2026 after a 40-year career at Boeing/Spirit AeroSystems. He was born May 13, 1960, in Wichita, KS.
Bob married Zoila Cabrera A Bailetti on October 21, 2000 and together they built a life filled with devotion, love, family and friendship.
Bob is survived by, his wife Zoila Holl, mother Jeanene Holl, sisters Brenda (Mark) Smith, Elizabeth Humbolt, Dana (Billy Ray) Carr, he also leaves behind his cherished niece Marlena (Amer) Guettaf and nephews, Jacob and John Humbolt, Alexander, Billy R. and Daniel Carr, each of whom held a special place in his heart, as well as six great-nieces and great-nephews.
He will be missed by his sisters/brothers-in-law Pinny (Wyn) of Texas, Mary, Ani, Marianna, and Enrique, as well as, Aunts Gigi and Ana, Uncle Juan and Uncle Adolfo, nieces Arianna and Micaela and nephews Gustavo and Ignacio of Peru, South America. Robert is preceded in death by his father Robert Dale Holl, uncle Allen Holl, brother-in-law David Humbolt and niece Miranda Souvannavong.
From an early age, Bob was known for his unique personality and strong work ethic. He loved fishing, playing chess, cooking, and sharing his recipes. He had a deep appreciation for music, hot rods, and guns. Bob was a visionary rarely declining an opportunity for a deep discussion, something he loved. He cherished meeting and talking with his lifelong friends, some from work and some ranging back to his teenage years. Bob had many sayings he would quote and a great wisdom about him.
Bob's presence was a blessing, and his memory will live on in the countless lives he touched.
A private service will be held for immediate family.
Arrangements are by Affordable Cremations Plus, Wichita, Kansas.
