ROBERT HOWARD "BOBBY" LITTLE of Wichita (formerly of Winfield) passed away Friday, May 2, 2025 in the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice Unit at Via Christi St Francis Hospital, after a short battle with lung and brain cancer.  He was 57.  Cremation has been affected.

Bobby, or "Ozzy," as he was known by his close friends, was born in Wichita on November 12, 1967 to Robert Eugene Little and Phyllis Colleen (Counts) Little.  He was raised and received his education in Winfield, working at several local businesses and attending Winfield High School.  He also lived in Manhattan, KS for a short time and worked at various businesses there.  He was very proud of his Native American heritage.

For much of his adult life, Bobby worked at Ottaway Amusements.  He assembled and disassembled the rides and games and did general maintenance on them.  He loved the "carney" lifestyle of traveling to different places.  He also worked for some time for Lewallen Amusements, doing the same type of work.

Bobby was married to Susan Lewallen.  The wedding ceremony was performed by Hank, "The Mechanic," a DJ at T-95 radio.   The couple later divorced.

Bobby was a drifter, a nomad and a traveler. He was never one to stay anywhere for very long.  His friends all knew that he would take any opportunity to travel and find new adventures and that, once he did, they may not hear from him for months or even years.  He lived in Florida for about five years, having left on the spur of the moment (without telling anyone) to go there with a friend and wasn't heard from for about five years.  Then, just as quickly as he had left, he returned to Kansas and picked up with his life just where he had left off.  That was just how he was.

During the last few years of his life, he lived in Wichita.  He resided and worked for a few months at the Wichita Fellowship Club and their 101 Ranch facility, where he enjoyed working in the kitchen, doing maintenance and helping with Bingo.  He made many friends while he was there.

Bobby is survived by his mother, Phyllis LaRue of Arizona, his brother, Larry (Chris) Armstrong of Winfield and a son, Brandon Little.  He is also survived by his former wife, Susan Lewallen.  He leaves behind many friends, old and new.

A memorial service will be held at the 101 Ranch at a later date and his ashes will be buried in the cemetery there.
