Ronald "Ronnie" Eugene Richardson, 57, passed away on April 24th, 2026 at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, KS with his loving family by his side.

Ronnie was born in Wichita, KS on March 27, 1969 to mother Carolyn Velma Sue (Smith) Richardson and father Harold Eugene Richardson. There, he spent his life as a pillar of strength for his family and worked for three decades within the aerospace manufacturing industry.

Ronnie was a dearly beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, music, Batman, and tending to his garden, where you could always find spicy peppers and cucumbers for pickling. His riotous sense of humor filled every room he entered with uproarious laughter and chased away even the darkest of moods. Above all things Ronnie adored his family and was a selfless, reliable fixture in the lives of all who loved him. There was never a holiday he did not strive to make special, nor a gathering where his silliness did not buoy the joy of all those around him. The extraordinary light of his presence in this world is missed more than anyone can say.

He is survived by siblings Harold Wayne (Diana) Richardson and Rebecca (Walter) Wiklund; nieces and nephews Timothy Connelly, Jessie Connelly, Bryce Connelly, Shaunna Richardson, Bec Richardson, and Miles Richardson; and great-nephew Daine Alberson.

Preceding Ronnie in death are his father Harold Richardson and mother Carolyn Richardson.

Ronnie will be remembered for the love he gave so freely to his family; for his tireless hard work and dedication; and for the lifetime of beautiful memories his spirit will live on within forever. He will be loved and missed always."
