Ronald Lynn Sherman, 67, passed away on January 29, 2026 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Ks. He was born on July 16, 1958 in Gravett, Arkansas to Carroll and Anna (Abercrombie) Sherman.

Ronnie graduated from McDonald County High School in Anderson, Mo. Ronnie lived in El Dorado, Ks until 2000, where he moved to Fredonia, Ks to live in a group home. He was like family there. Then in 2025, he moved to another group home in Cedar Vale, Ks where they were family as well. This is where in lived until his time of death.He was a member of First Baptist Church of El Dorado. He enjoyed going bowling and watching K-State sports and Kansas City Chiefs football.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Lana Sherman, brother-in-law, Merlin Dorrell.

He is survived by his sister, Connie Dorrell, brothers, Danny Sherman (Brenda), Mark Robinson (Jamie), brother-in-law, Jake Sherman, and special cousin, Vickey Reed, 7 nieces and nephews, along with numerous great nieces and nephews.

Memorial service to be held on Saturday, March 14 th at the First Southern Baptist Church in El Dorado, KS  200 S Oilhill Rd at 2:00 p.m. Please wear either Chiefs or K-State attire as Ronnie was a big fan of both.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Phoenix Home Health and Hospice.
