Rose Marie (Johnson) Ayers McCurry was born February 2, 1950 in Wichita, Kansas to Henry (Hank) Johnson and Shirley (Bosley)Durbin. Passed away peacefully at home May 8, 2025.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, her brother Harland Johnson and son Daniel Ayers.

Survived by her husband, Virgil (Ray) McCurry; stepdad Calvin Durbin; sons Joe Ruiz (Linda) of Wichita, Chris Ayers Alamogordo, New Mexico; grandsons Zac Ruiz of Wichita, Thomas Ayers (Sydney) of Florida, Blake Ruiz(Jessie) of Valley Center and a host of other family and friends who loved her.

Celebration of life will be Saturday, May 17 from 11 AM to 2 PM at Bentley City Hall 150 S. Wichita St., Bentley, KS 67016. Family will be present. You are welcome to come and go during that time.

Arrangements are by Affordable Cremations Plus, Wichita, Kansas.
