Rosemary Renner-Kessinger, 92, passed away peacefully Friday, December 19, 2025.

The Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, January 3, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, Schulte, KS. Interment in St. Peter Cemetery, Schulte, KS.

Rosemary was born September 8, 1933, to Aloysius Lingg and Mary (Martin) Lingg. She grew up on the family farm outside of Andale, KS. She was very proud to be valedictorian of the 1951 Class of Andale High School.

Rosemary was united in marriage to Raymond Lee Renner on July 17, 1952 in Andale, Kansas. They later made their home on the family farm east of Conway Springs where they raised their family of four daughters and one son. Ray passed away June 21, 2001.

Rosemary married Robert Kessinger on December 10, 2005, and had the good fortune of celebrating their 20th anniversary this year. They shared the last two years together in assisted-living.

Rosemary enjoyed being a bus driver for the Conway Springs School District. She was very involved for many years with the production of the Wichita Lawn Flower & Garden Show. She also worked full time for the Sedgwick County Conservation District for more than 20 years. She retired there in 2018 at the age of 85.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; brothers Al Lingg, Marcellus Lingg; and sisters, Alex Lingg and Doris Rosskopf; brothers-in-laws Dean James, Ron Rosskopf, Don Lies and Dennis Kessinger; sisters-in-law Darlene Lingg Burke and Mary Kay Lies; son-in-law Tom Erker; stepson Jeff Kessinger; grandson Jason Fisher; and granddaughter Madeline Renner.

Survivors include four daughters, Gail Fisher (Reid Cranmer), Terri Erker, Maribeth Sonnier (Mark Fowler), Margie Unrein (Bill); and one son John Renner (Lisa); stepson Justin Kessinger; sisters Virginia James and Catherine Geisinger (Jim); sisters-in-law Judy Lingg and Mary Alice Renner; brother-in-law Ed Renner; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Rosemary loved to dance, sing show tunes, read, and play trivia games. She was a class act through and through including always wearing makeup while driving the wheat truck. If you were a stranger in her life, you weren't for long. She lovingly embraced everyone she met. But above all, she loved her family fiercely. That was truly her legacy.

A memorial has been established with The Lord's Diner, 520 N. Broadway, Wichita, KS 67214.
