Sandy Sue Ray (Bell) aged 72 years, of Pratt, Kansas, went to Heaven on May 2nd, 2026 – she joined many of her late family for her late dad's birthday. What a birthday party they must have had in Heaven!

She was born July 26th, 1953 to Don R. Bell and Doris Lorraine "Rainy" Bell. Sandy graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School in Overland Park, Kansas in 1971. She was a member of the drill team while at Shawnee Mission North, and frequently spoke fondly of her time during drill team, touring the country and making life-long friends. She married Michael Reeder in 1974 and they had one son, Brandon Reeder in 1976. Sandy and Mike later divorced. She had a daughter, Rainie Rogers (Bell) in 1990. Beginning in the 90's, she had a long-term relationship with Tom Litchfield, who was wonderful to her, her daughter and her family, they remained close friends until his death in 2023. She met Dexter Ray and married him on May 15th, 2010. They would be celebrating their 16th anniversary this month.

Sandy is preceded in death by her loving parents, Don Bell and Lorraine Bell, and her brother Reid Bell, and many of her precious dogs she has owned throughout her life – each one she loved with all of her heart. She most recently lost her two dachshunds Stevie and Chili whom she loved deeply.

She is survived by her husband, Dexter Ray, of the home; her son Brandon Reeder and his wife Michelle of Murrieta, California; daughter Rainie Rogers and her husband, Brandon of Longton, Kansas; Danny Ray and his wife Patricia, and Teah Ray. She had 7 beloved grandchildren – Amanda Reeder, Cole Reeder, Avery Reeder, Ethan Reeder, Jaelyn Wade, Gabrielle Rogers, Clay Rogers.

There are no funeral arrangements at this time per her request. Cremation has taken place.
