Scott Anthony Rausch, 58, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025 in Clearwater, Kansas. He was born on October 28, 1966 on his mother's birthday, in Wichita, Kansas to Melvin and Shirley Ann (Evans) Rausch.

Scott was a man who lived life with a quiet strength and a deep appreciation for the simple things. He found joy and peace in the great outdoors. He spent many hours fishing, a love he inherited from his Grandpa Evans. He loved to hunt with his bird dogs that he had trained himself.

A free spirit, with a love of the open road, Scott enjoyed riding motorcycles alongside his close friend Brad. The Ninnesach River was a favorite place for Scott to spend time. He found great joy in the company of family and friends. He particularly loved being gathered around a card table playing poker and sharing stories with his brothers.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Michael Rausch.

He is survived by his son, Melvin Rausch, daughter, Alexanderia Rausch, two brothers; Hugh Rausch (Belinda), Arnold Rausch (Jill), sister, Suzann Toon (Phillip), sister in law, Julie Rausch, numerous nieces and nephews, and dear friends, Brad and Kim Warne.

Funeral mass will be held on August 2, 2025 at St. John Clonmel. There will be a Rosary at 9:30 a.m. the funeral will be at 10:00 a.m., followed by a burial at Resurrection Cemetery on Maize Road.

Scott will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A special thanks to Lisa Vulgamore for the love, comfort and devoted care she gave Scott during his time of illness, your presence brought peace to his journey and was truly appreciated.
