Shane Michael Davis

Shane Michael Davis, age 80, entered into eternal rest on August 25, 2026. He was born on November 28, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri to Herbert and Sally Davis.

Shane attended Southwest High School and while there attained his Eagle Scout Award. Shane graduated from Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas. After college, he entered the Army and was assigned to Vietnam. He served two tours and earned several medals, including the silver star.

In 1970, he began his lifelong career in the insurance and investment business.

Shane was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Sally Davis, sister, Joy Williams, and daughter, Shannon Michelle Davis.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Connie “Jo”, brother, H. Bud Davis, his favorite niece and nephew, Michele (Mish) and Andy Azzarito, and many wonderful friends.

In accordance with Shane’s wishes, a private service will be held for immediate family.

A gathering to honor and remember Shane will be shared at a future date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Shane’s honor may be made to American Legion Post 4 and may be sent in care of Affordable Cremations Plus 7920 W Kellogg Drive Suite 200 Wichita, Ks 67209.
