Shane Michael Young, 37, of Wichita, died December 13, 2024 at Ascension Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis Campus in Wichita, Kansas.

He was born on March 3, 1987 in Wichita. Shane graduated from Wichita West High School in 2005.

As a cook, Shane had worked at several area restaurants. He was a contestant on Gordon Ramsey's 24 HRS To Hell and Back, during the first season, episode six.

Survivors include his mother Teresa Diane Young; son Michael Byron Young; daughter Ariel Young; half-brother Michael Rowlett; and grandfather Leon Young all of Wichita.

Shane is preceded in death by his father Jim Rowlett; grandmother May Irene Young; and aunts Cheryl Jane Young and Jeanette Sue Clark.

Arrangements are by Affordable Cremations Plus, Wichita, Kansas.
