Shaun Waddell

Shaun Reuben Waddell, 43, died Monday, September 7, 2026 at his home in Haysville, Kansas.

He was born on September 21, 1982 in Wichita, Kansas. Shaun was raised and attended schools in Wichita.

He loved taking rides in his truck, along with fishing, playing pool, target shooting. He also liked to collect things.

Shaun worked at Carlson Products in Maize for ten years and for the past four years at Spirit Aircraft.

Survivors include his wife Aprill Williams of the home; son Dominic Waddell of the home; along with Aprills children Paizley Gilbreth and husband Brice of Wellington, Zaydon Gooch of the home; brothers Trevor Waddell of Oregon, Michael Waddell and wife Melissa of Wichita; sister Katie Ann Waddell-Ritz and husband Travis Brawner of Mulvane; and people he helped in need.

Shaun is preceded in death by his father Philip Leon Waddell and mother Marilyn Stough Waddell.
