Shawn Everett Grittith, 47, of Hutchinson, Kansas, died Saturday, August 15, 2026 at the Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita, Kansas.
Shawn was born on March 3, 1979 in Hutchinson where he was raised and attended schools.
He loved riding his motorcycle and collecting Hot Wheels. Shawn loved to laugh and was a big jokester.
Survivors include his companion of over 12 years Valerie Kern of the home in Hutchinson; father Faron Joe Griffith of Wichita; mother Gayle Krob Ridge of Hutchinson; and brothers Michael Lee Griffith of Arkansas, and Roy Allen Griffith of Hutchinson.
Shawn is also survived by his children Shawn B. Griffith and Elijah Griffith, both of Coleridge, Nebraska; granddaughter Haze Blue Everett Griffith; and step-daughter Alexandria Specht of Rapid City, South Dakota.
No services are being planned.
