Shawn Evan Lund, 56, died Monday, November 11, 2024 in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on February 19, 1968 in El Dorado, Kansas.

Shawn was preceded in death by his father, Stevan Lund.

He is survived by his sons Kennedy Lund and Brook Lund; daughter Jessi Young; granddaughter Amaya; his beloved Lysa Lund; mother Charisse Yates; and brothers Shane Lund, Brett Lund, and Stevan Lund, II.

Shawn was a beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather. He was fiercely loyal to his friends and family and loved with the same ferocity. There wasn't a human or animal that Shawn didn't smile at, love on, or pick up and love.

He had the softest heart and a contagious laugh that filled every room he occupied. An honorable, good-hearted man, Shawn was loved by many. He loved Jesus, and we know he is in Heaven and not suffering anymore.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 7 at the New Covenant Church, 1710 West Douglas, Wichita, Kansas.
