Shirley Ann Roush, died Saturday, August 15, 2026 (her 86th birthday) at her home in Wichita, KS with members of her family by her side.

She was born on August 15, 1940 in Vinton, Ohio, the daughter of Howard R. and Edna E. Chasteen Pinnell. Shirley was raised in Vinton, Ohio, the family later moved to Michigan. Shortly after moving to Michigan she met Bobby Roush, who was serving in the Air Force. They were married in July 1961 in North Carolina and then moved to Middleport, Ohio where Shirley lived for several years. She also lived in Pomeroy, Ohio before moving to Wichita, KS.

For a time period Shirley lived at Sheridan Village in Wichita, KS where she enjoyed socializing with her friends there. Shirley loved to attend bible study groups, listen to gospel music, cook for the monthly dinners, go shopping and she was always helping others out whenever she could.

Survivors include her daughters Shelly (Tony) Pierce of Syracuse, Ohio, Lori (Alan) Crisp of Racine, Ohio, Kim Adams of Middleport, Ohio, Terri (John) Simpson of Wichita, Kansas; sons David (Sherri) Roush of Pikeview, N.C. and Brandon (Cathy Kroeger) Roush of Wintersville, Ohio; her sister Linda McCarthy of Havelock, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Gene Pinnell, Jim Pinnell, Robert Pinnell; and granddaughter Brandi Fortune.

A memorial service will be announced by Affordable Cremations Plus, Wichita, Kansas.
