Obituary

Stephoni Jean O'Neil, 52, passed away in her home in Wichita, Kansas on Friday August 22nd, 2025.

Stephoni was born October 25th, 1972 to Carolyn Sue Hance. She grew up in Mcalester, Oklahoma and went on to be a homemaker.  Stephoni was known for helping people through their time of need. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be remembered most for the impact her positive attitude had on others.

She is survived by her spouse Joseph Kaps of Wichita, Ks; sister Angela Womack and her spouse Darrin White of Wichita, Ks; Aunts Laura Ann and Bill Southard of Broken Arrow, Ok,  Kathy and William Grantham of Alderson, Ok; Joseph's children,  Rachel Wiebe (Kaps) and Adam Wiebe along with their children Peyton and Sydney Wiebe of Wichita, Ks, and Bradley Kaps of US Military; Nieces Ashlee Vickers of Wichita, Ks, Alexis Standifer of Wichita, Ks, Shelby and Austin Davis along with their son Colter Davis of Clearwater, Ks, Tobi and Chasen Sowell of Wichita, Ks; Brianna and Avery Ramirez along with their children of Wichita, Ks, and Madison Standifer of Wichita Ks; Cousins Kendall and Derrick Mordhorst along with their children of Tulsa, Ok, Leslie Lovett and her children of Mcalester, Ok, and Brandon and Jessica Hance along with their children of Sand Springs, Ok; Darrin's children Paige, Richard and his wife Spencer White of Wichita, Ks. She is preceded in death by her Mother Carolyn Sue Vonalman, grandmother Dorothy Montgomery, uncles Tommy Hance, and Warren Hance.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday September 13th at The Clare Michael, 2314 E Admiral Blvd, Tulsa, Ok 74110, beginning at 1 pm.

The family invites friends and loved ones to send flowers in celebration of Stephoni to the address listed above for the celebration of life.
