Steve Minson, 76, passed away on August 10, 2024, in Wichita, KS.  On June 17, 1948, Steve was born in Great Bend, KS, to the late Claude and Bonnie (Stockmon) Minson.

He attended Valley Center High School.  He earned basketball scholarships to Cowley County JUCO and Friends University.  Steve was drafted in the U.S. Army and deployed to Vietnam.  On his return, he worked over 30 years for the U.S. Postal Service where he developed many cherished friendships.  He enjoyed fishing, golfing, sports, playing cards, and watching every cowboy show ever produced!

Steve is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Andrea, and his brother Billy.

Steve is survived by his daughters: Elizabeth (Wes) Demoss,  Erin (Jim) Spalding, and 8 grandchildren: Abby, Ian, Drew, Reese, Ava, Mya, John, and Ethan, his siblings:  Rod (Melanie) Minson and Linda (Dave) Schmitt.  A big thank you to the staff at Via Christi Village Ridge.  His final years were filled with love and laughter.
