Steven Charles Schurr, 38, died Saturday, August 30, 2025 at his home in Newton, Kansas.

He was born on November 8, 1986 in Wichita. Steven attended grade school and middle school in Wichita then moved to Wellington for his high school years.

He lived in Wichita until moving to Newton three years ago. Steven enjoyed tinkering with things.

Spending time with his two children was important to him, Colton and Audrey Schurr of Augusta. He is also survived by his mother and step-father Janice Schurr-Davis and Scott of Wichita; brother Aaron Davis of Rose Hill; and sisters Bobbi Schurr Santana of Newton, Jesseca Schurr of Derby and Ashlae Davis of Wichita.

Steven is preceded in death by his father Parry Charles Schurr; grandparents Orville Jr and Mary Ann Dean, Henry Charles and Effie Nadine Schurr.

Graveside inurnment services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 13, 2025 at the Greenwood Cemetery, 6231 W. 47th Street, South, Wichita, Ks. 67215.
