Sylvia Roxanne (McCall) Hill passed away on September 26th, 2024, after a long battle with cancer. She was 79 years old at the time of her death.

Sylvia was born on April 25th, 1945, in Ottawa, Kansas to her parents Myron E. and Frances M. (Slavens) McCall. She was raised in Ottawa, Kansas and graduated from Ottawa High School in 1963. After graduating from high school she attended x-ray technician school in Newton, Kansas. While attending school there, she met and married Hugh S.(Todd) Hill. They were the parents of five children: Michael T., Mark N.,Jennifer K., Shannon S., and Matthew L. She and Hugh later divorced.

In life Sylvia really enjoyed shopping and going out to get coffee with her daughter-in- law Aly Hill. She also loved sitting outside by the firepit with her family. In addition, she enjoyed decorating her house with the things she had acquired during her lifetime.

Sylvia worked very hard at a variety of jobs including, DePaul Hospital in Cheyenne, Wyoming, taking care of elderly people in the Yoder area of Wyoming as well as working for Wal-Mart in Ottawa and Newton, Ks for nearly 20 years.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her daughter Shannon, her parents Myron and Frances McCall and her ex-husband Hugh S. Hill.

Sylvia loved her family very much. Survivors include her children Michael, Mark, Jennifer and Matt as well as her siblings: Cheryl Crique, Marilyn Sutton, Linda Campbell, Myra Fogarty and John McCall. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cremation has been completed. A Celebration of life has been planned for her in the near future.
