Tammy Kay McPherson, 66, of Haysville, Kansas, died Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

She was born on April 28, 1958 in Winfield, Kansas, the daughter of Charles Douglas and Betty Darnell Douglas. The family moved to Wichita where she was raised and graduated from high school.

Through the years Tammy had been a housekeeper for several people. She loved spending time with her family as well as her dog, Billy, and cat, Kit Kat. She also enjoyed scrapbooking.

Tammy married Charles McPherson. He died on February 13, 2008.

Survivors include her sons Shandy Douglas and Derrick Douglas both of Wichita; sisters Charlotte Siegel of Surprise, Az., Debbie Adams and Cheryl Mulheran of Wichita, and Kim Douglas of Oklahoma City, Okla., 14 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren with one on the way.

Tammy is preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles; daughters Charity Bell and Tanisha McPherson; and brother Charles "Rick" Douglas.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, May 16th at Affordable Cremations Plus in Wichita, Ks.
