Terry Lynn Alvarez, 63, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice Center at St Francis Hospital in Wichita, Ks. He was born on June 9, 1961 in Salinas, Ca to Ray Denver and Mary Ann (Partridge) Reece.

He grew up working with his father in a furniture factory where he learned the value of having a strong work ethic that he maintained through his life. He went on to be self employed working in home remodeling and repair. He could fix and build anything.

Riding motorcycles was his lifelong passion. He was full of life, he knew how to make everyone laugh, and always extended a helping hand to those in need. He will be remembered as a kind, gentle person who loved everyone.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ramon Santana, and four sisters; Debbie Alvarez, Shirley Alvarez, Victoria Santana, and Ramona Santana.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Sarah Holdaway, sons; Matthew Holdaway and Zechariah Alvarez, five daughters; Meriya Guines (Richard), Jessica Trevino (Chris), Crystal Trevino, Heather Jay, and Nicole Holdaway, three brothers; LeRoy Cavazos (Roxanne), Rodney Reece (Donna), and Larry Kasney (Vanessa), along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Glenville Baptist Church 4604 S Seneca Wichita, Ks.
