Tracy Reed

Tracy Lee Reed, 56, longtime Wichita resident, died Sunday, September 13, 2026 at the Great Plains Post Acute Center in Wichita, Kansas.

She was born on August 22, 1970 in Emporia, Kansas, the daughter of Robert Lee and Fontella Christine Cain King. Tracy was raised and attended schools in Emporia.

She moved to Wichita when she was 18 years old and later was a manager at Hunter Health Clinic.

Tracy enjoyed doing artwork, drawing and painting.

Survivors include her son Joshua May and wife Lacey of Wichita; daughter Samantha King of Bremerton, Washington; brothers Robert King of Tulsa, Jay King of Wichita; half-sisters Carrie Dirks and Victoria, Canada, Arlene Andes of Prince Albert, Canada; and her five grandchildren who she loved to spend time with, Aimee, Christee, Jacklynn, Madilynn, and Lililynn.

Tracy is preceded in death by her parents and infant son Devon King.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 Noon, on Monday, October 5 at the Countryside Christian Church, 1919 South Rock Road, Wichita, Kansas 67207.

Inurnment will take place at the Hillside Cemetery in Chase County, Kansas.

Arrangements are by Affordable Cremations Plus, Wichita, Kansas.
