Tresea Diane Edgington, 74, of Wellington, died Friday, October 25, 2024 at Via Christi Medical Center-St. Joseph Campus in Wichita, Kansas.

She was born on March 18, 1950 in Wellington, Kansas the daughter of George C. and Wanda Wampler Jeffries. Tresea was raised in the Mayfield, Kansas area where she graduated from high school.

She lived in Wellington for several years. Tresea had worked as a Dietary Manager at Medical Lodge East in Arkansas City and later as a cashier and greeter at the Wellington WalMart.

Tresea was a people person and was very sociable. She enjoyed watching the Hallmark Channel and reading romance novels.

Survivors include her sons Merle Edgington, Jeff Edgington, Geoge Edgington and wife Sarah all of Wellington; her brother Charlie L. Jeffries; sisters Georgette Ferguson and Roxanne Jackson all of Wellington; Grandchildren Michael Edgington, Bradley Warner, Matthew Edgington, Chelsea Gageby, Lilly Kidd and Nevin Gageby; and 11 great grandchildren.

Tresea is preceded in death by her parents; brother Ronald Eugene Jeffries; and sister-in-law Connie Jeffries.
