Vickie Lynn Herver-Mata, 70, died Wednesday, February 26, 2025 in Haysville, Kansas.

She was born on November 25, 1954 in Wichita, KS, the daughter of Harold and Juanita Cowans Hall. Vickie was raised in Wichita and graduated from Wichita North High School.

She later moved to Ft. Smith, Arkansas where she lived before returning to Wichita in the early 80's.

Through the years Vickie worked at The Coleman Company, Cessna Aircraft, Lowes Home Improvement and Kansas Star Casino until retiring. Most recently she had been working part-time as a Para-Professional at the elementary schools in Derby.

Vickie enjoyed making jewelry, rose oil perfume, gardening and sewing.

Survivors include her longtime friend and companion Rudy Herver-Mata; sons Michael Sullivan, Danny Sullivan and wife Christy, David Sullivan all of Haysville, four grandchildren Tiara Sullivan and husband Tony, Quinton Sullivan and wife Bree, Dylan Sullivan, Kaylie Sullivan, one great granddaughter Kennedy Sullivan.

Vickie is proceeded in death by her parents and one great grandson William Daniel Radford.

The casket will be open for viewing at Affordable Cremations Plus from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Friday, March 7th, 2025.

Graveside and interment services will follow at 1:30 pm at the Greenwood Cemetery in Wichita, Ks.
