Vincent Marcel Motte, 52, passed into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from his home in Bel Aire, Kansas with his mother and sisters by his side.

He was born on October 17, 1973 in Wichita. Vincent was raised in the Wichita area and attended Southeast High School and Wichita Metro-Boulevard School.

He worked for the Wichita Eagle Newspaper and later for Beaver Express until his stroke in 2012.

Vincent was an artist who enjoyed drawing and studying religions from all around the world. He enjoyed playing video games, watching movies and anything that involved technology. One of his favorite hobbies was creating special gifts to give to his family and friends.

Carrying his memory on are his mother Kara Jenkins Kabasi of the home; sisters Belaun Segroves of Arlington, Texas and Cielita Jenkins of the home; along with his uncles John Motte and Ronnie Motte both of Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

Vincent is preceded in death by his father Harold Vincent Motte.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, May 2nd at the Wichita Community Baptist Church, 2525 E 1st St N, Wichita, KS 67214
