Obituary

Vint Jace Hull, 68, Pretty Prairie, died June 17, 2026 at Hospice House in Hutchinson. He was born February 11, 1958 in Hutchinson to Clyde Maxville Hull and Almagene Kelman Hull, Arlington. Vint graduated from Pretty Prairie High School in 1976.

Vint was Captain of Reno County Fire District 4 for six years in Arlington where he was also an Officer for the Arlington Police Department and drove the ambulance for the Arlington EMS. He was an Inspector for the State of Kansas Grain Inspection Department. He later worked for the City of Hutchinson and after moving to Colorado he worked for the City of Fountain.

He loved coyote hunting, fishing, deer hunting, and prospecting for gold in Colorado.

Vint is survived by a son, Jace Maxville Hull, Tulsa OK, and a granddaughter, Odette Rose Hull, Colorado Springs, CO, a brother, Craig (Beth) Hull, Arlington, and sisters Kenise (Barry) Dunmire, Marysville and Connie (Mike) Hedrick, Lawrence.

Vint was preceded in death by his parents, step-son Ethan Avalos, niece, Brandi Jo Housley, and his loyal, faithful companion, Augee.

Cremation has taken place. Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, July 18 at the Lerado Cemetery, 23468 S Lerado Rd, Langdon KS 67035.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice House, 1523 E 20th Ave. Hutchinson KS 67502.
