William G. “Bill” Blue, 83, passed away on August 27, 2026 at Rolling Hills Health and Rehab in Wichita, Ks. He was born on July 4, 1943 in Wichita, Ks to Gilbert and Irene (Hurt) Blue.

Bill worked at Cessna for almost 38 years as a machinist and then retired as a planner. After retiring from Cessna he opened his own motorcycle restoration business and became well known throughout the country. He never did anything half way, he had motorcycle’s in his veins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and daughter, Annette Byington, and grandson, Sean Blue.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Blue, son, Mark Blue, and step son, Steve Apsey, three grandchildren; Joseph, Misty, and Tiffanie, and four great grandchildren.
