William "Billy" Eugene Hixon, 46, passed away on March 25, 2026, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on March 6, 1980, in Dodge City, Kansas, to Tony Hixon and Sherry Harms.

Billy was a lifelong resident of Dodge City and dedicated 22 years of his life as a team lead in the beer industry. Known by many as a "go-to" guy, Billy was truly one of a kind, someone you could count on for just about anything. If it needed fixed, built, or brought back to life…Billy was your guy. He showed up without hesitation, always ready to lend a hand. He had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hosting barbecues, and spending time with friends and family. Billy was well known for competing in BBQ competitions and took pride in being known for having some of the best meat in town. Recently, he found joy in raising goats, something he grew to love dearly.

Billy shared a special bond with his dog, Iverson. When Iverson passed just days before him. Those who knew Billy know how deeply he loved, and there is comfort in believing that the two are now reunited, side by side once again.
Even in his final moments, Billy continued to give to others. As an organ donor, he carried on his legacy of helping people, something he had done his entire life without hesitation. There is comfort in knowing that his generous and beautiful heart will continue to live on.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Ryan Hixon; maternal grandparents, Harold and Maryann Harms; and paternal grandparents, Clayton and Delores Bernash.

He is survived by his wife, Stacey Hixon; his children, Hunter Hixon, Hayden Hixon, Daisha Price, Abby Hixon, and Paige Ellis; his mother, Sherry Harms; his father, Tony Hixon and wife Chely; brothers, Ethan and Kayden Hixon; stepbrothers, Jose Lopez and wife Veronica, and Raul Lopez and wife Brenda; sisters, Amy Kreger (Brandon) and Jaylynn Hixon; and stepsister, Maritza and husband Luis.

Billy will be remembered for his generous spirit, his willingness to help anyone in need, and the lasting impact he made on those lucky enough to know him. A memorial service will be held on April 4, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Silver Star Hall in Dodge City, Kansas. Flowers can be sent to Wil Fischer Distributing, memorials may be sent to the Hixon family to assist in medical expenses.
