Willis Franklin Sims, was born to Edward A. Sims "Jack" and Beverly J (Pyle) Sims in Wichita, Ks at St Francis Hospital. He was known as Frank to everyone. Frank passed away on October 17, 2025 in Wichita, Ks.

He enjoyed pheasant hunting, going fishing, and playing volleyball with friends on Saturday nights

Frank is survived by his two children; Jennifer Barkley (John), and Nick Sims (Tonya), three grandchildren; Kyson Shultz, Jasper Sims, and Jensen Barkley, sister Sharon K. Tawney, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Wanda Coureton, Norma Williams, brothers, William "Bill" Sims, Eddie Malone, Jimmy Jackson, and Earl Williams.

Celebration of Life will be on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Seventh Day Adventist Church – South; 820 W 27th Street S Wichita, Ks 67217.
