Chance Steven Martin, 31, died Wednesday (May 10, 2023) in Wichita.

He was born on March 23, 1992 in Winfield, Kansas. Chance grew up in Arkansas City, where he attended school.

With most of his life being in Ark City, he moved to Shattuck, Oklahoma where he lived for a few years and worked at the Braums Dairy Farm and in the oilfields. Chance had been living in Wichita for the past couple of years.

Chance loved being outdoors, camping and enjoying nature. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles.

Survivors include his mother Pamela Martin of Arkansas City; father Steven Kaiser of Mulvane; brothers Gage Kaiser and Tripp Martin both of Ark City; sisters Keaton Martin and Willow McCormick both of Ark City; two nieces Lila Martin and Mavis Mieszala; grandmother Linda Martin of Wichita; and aunts Tracy Bellomy of Winfield, Sheila Martin of Parkerfield, Ks., Desiree Ganpat of New Orleans, La., and Taylor Martin of Wichita.

Chance is preceded in death by his grandfather Richard Martin and grandmother Donna Asmann.

The casket will be open on Thursday (May 18, 2023) at 1:00 P.M., at Affordable Cremations Plus in Wichita for a time for family and friends to remember Chance's life.
